16. Fihr QURAISH [117879] (Malik¹⁴, Nazar¹², Kinana⁹, Khuzayma⁷, 'Amr⁶, Ilyass⁵, Mudar⁴, Nazar³, Ma'ad², Adnan¹) was born in 210 in Makkah Arabia and died in Makkah Arabia. Another name for Fihr was Fihr IBN MALIK.

Fihr ibn Malik s counted among the direct ancestors of Prophet Muhammad.[2]: 3 In the lineage of Muhammad from Adnan, Fihr precedes Prophet Muhammad by eleven generations.

Some writers stated that his name was also "Qarish" (hard, diminutive is "Quraysh"), which fits him being the progenitor of the Quraysh tribe.

Fihr married 'Layla BINT AL-HARIS [117880], daughter of Al-Harith IBN TAMIM [117897] and Lubna BINT AL-HAITH [117898]. 'Layla was born in 229.

'Layla married Fihr QURAISH [117879], son of Malik IBN AL-NADR [117881] and 'Jandala BINT AAMIR [117882]. Fihr was born in 210 in Makkah Arabia and died in Makkah Arabia. Another name for Fihr was Fihr IBN MALIK.
