28. Al-Hakam IBN ABI AL-AS IBN UMAYYA [117861] (Abu al-As 1st Umayyad Caliph27, Umayya26, Abd Shams25, Abd Manãf24, Qusayy23, Kilab22, Murrah21, Ka'b20, Lu'ayy19, Ghalib18, Fihr16, Malik14, Nazar12, Kinana9, Khuzayma7, 'Amr6, Ilyass5, Mudar4, Nazar3, Ma'ad2, Adnan1) died 655 or 656.

General Notes: Wikipedia says of Al-Hakam,
Al-?akam ibn Abi al-?As ibn Umayya was the father of the founder of the Marwanid line of the Umayyad dynasty, Marwan I (r. 684\endash 685), and a paternal uncle of Caliph Uthman (r. 644\endash 656). He was known as a staunch opponent of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and was consequently exiled when the latter captured their hometown of Mecca in 630. He was later pardoned, either by Muhammad or by Uthman.

Al-Hakam married Amina BINT 'ALQAMA AL-KINANIYYA [117862].
