(Malyon is Alan Lawrence Malyon ALLAN b. 1921 and died in 1979 in the Mt Erebus crash with his daughter, Jane Philippa.)

David was a Squadron Leader in WW2 - He was instructing Pilot Officer(Percival Guy Haig NEWTON) at the Hobsonville Air Base in Auckland, in a Tiger Moth. NEWTON did a roll as instructed, and as he did so, the locking pin in David's harness came undone, and he fell out from 2,800' sustaining horrific injuries.

David married Emma Florence Constance OGILVIE [10273] [MRIN: 4722] about 1920.
