2. Abraham BOOTH [8539] (Robert1) was born in 1675 in Duffield Derbyshire England, died in 1735 in Blackwell Derbyshire England at age 60, and was buried on 17 Jul 1735 in Blackwell Derbyshire England.

General Notes: Chris Granger, in an eMail, dated June the 25th, 2006, included this Information on William Booth:

Abraham Booth who died in 1735 left a will dated 8 November 1734. He was described as being of "Hucknal" in the parish of Sutton in Ashfield, yeoman.
He left his second son, Abraham Booth, the remainder of the lease of Twinyards farm, Blackwell Also two closes there comprising four and a half acres.
Eldest son Robert to pay Abraham £100, if he intermeddled with this land.
Third son, William Booth, received a legacy of £50.
Elder daughter, Sarah Booth, to have twenty shillings a year which Robert was to finance with a capital sum of £20. On her death, this twenty pounds was to be between the eldest children of her four siblings, Robert, Abraham and William Booth and Anne Haslam.
Sarah was also left Oxley's House, Sutton Lane End, which was tenanted and worth about £12. If it was burnt or fell down, Robert was to rebuild it. On Sarah's death it was to go to her children or if she had none, to be divided equally between his siblings and their heirs who also shared the remainder of his personal estate.
He left the bedstead and bedding which he lay on in the Parlour to his daughter Anne Haslam.
Henry Fletcher, the elder, of Sutton in Ashfield, Richard Wright of Fullwood, Sutton in Ashfield and Jacob Booth of Belper Lands, Duffield were appointed trustees.
Residue of Real Estate to eldest son Robert Booth who was appointed sole executor.
Proved September 1736.
Bond witnessed by Nathaniel Hurst, Henry Fletcher's brother in law.
Inventory. The left half of it has been torn off but it totalled £13.1s.10d. One of the appraisers was William Fernehough who was presumably a relative of Abraham.
Hucknall Huthwaite, Hucknall Chaworth and Dirty Hucknall are apparently all names for the same part of Sutton in Ashfield.
The www.airgale.com web site says that he was baptised at Sutton in Ashfield in 1675 son of Robert Booth I can find no such entry in the parish register
There were Booths in Sutton in Ashfield and there is a will of an Elizabeth Booth proved in 1733. She left a close of land to her mother for life with remainder to her sister Rebekah Walstone and £4 to her brother Caleb Booth. There is no indication of any relationship with Abraham.
In the marriage licence for his marriage with Mary Rowe he is described as of Duffield and a Jacob Booth of Duffield was a trustee of his will.
Elizabeth Booth was buried at Sutton in Ashfield 6.8.1733.
There were several Booth marriages at Duffield after 1650 including
Robert Booth of Heage and Sarah Blidworth of Duffield married at Duffield 25.8.1667
Edward Marsden and Mary Booth both of Heage married at Duffield 30.5.1686
The use of the names Robert, Sarah and Jacob in Abraham's family suggests that a link is probable.
