General Notes: In a Document received from Marigold [Roberts] Potter in March 2021, she stated that,
Gilbert paid homage to Henry III and £100 for the King's relief and delivery of his lands.
by the king to be at Berwick on Tweed to accompany Alexander of Scotland to York where the two monarchs met. Gilbert witnessed the signing of a charter between England and Scotland.

Gilbert married Matilda [120388].

The child from this marriage was:

+ 8    i. Earl [1st] Gilbert d'UMFREVILLE of Angus [120284] was born in 1246 and died in 1308 at age 62.
