Elizabeth married Sir Gilbert BURDON of Baradon [120374].

The child from this marriage was:

Eleanor married Sir Henry TALBOYS [120376].

Earl Gilbert d'UMFREVILLE of Angus [120372] (Robert Baron of Prudhoe & Earl of Angus (Lord)³¹, Gilbert of Angus (8th Earl)²⁸, Gilbert IV of Angus (Earl)²², Richard V of Redesdale (Lord)¹⁶, Odinel II⁹, Odinel I⁵, Robert III of Tours & Vian (Lord)³, Robert II of Tours & Vian (Lord)², Robert¹) was born in 1310 and died in 1381 at age 71.

General Notes: In a Document received from Marigold [Roberts] Potter in March 2021, she stated that,
Gilbert joined John Balliol in his attempt to obtain the Scottish throne.
In 1346 Fought at Neille's Cross.
In 1378 Entailed Resedale on his half brother.

Noted events in his life were:

• He served as a Membr of Parliament for Angus at Westminster Middlesex England in Between 1332 and 1334

Gilbert married Joan de GRESBY [120377].

Gilbert next married 5th Baroness Maud de LUCY Lucy [120379]. Maud was born in 1343 and died on 18 Dec 1398 at age 55. Another name for Maud was Countess Maud d'UMFREVILLE of Angus.

The child from this marriage was:

   37    i. Sir Robert d'UMFREVILLE of Pallethorpe [120381] .

Robert married Margaret PERCY [120382] in 1340. Margaret died in 1375 in Gyng Essex England.

35. Thomas d'UMFREVILLE of Harbottle Castle [120363] (Robert Baron of Prudhoe & Earl of Angus (Lord)³¹, Gilbert of Angus (8th Earl)²⁸, Gilbert IV of Angus (Earl)²², Richard V of Redesdale (Lord)¹⁶, Odinel II⁹, Odinel I⁵, Robert III of Tours & Vian (Lord)³, Robert II of Tours & Vian (Lord)², Robert¹) died in 1386.

General Notes: In a Document received from Marigold [Roberts] Potter in March 2021, she stated that,
Sir Thomas inherited Resedale and Kyme from his half brother Gilbert.

• Appointment: Lieutenant of Scotland.

Thomas married Joan RODDAM [120364].

Children from this marriage were:

+ 38    i. Sir Thomas d'UMFREVILLE Lord of Riddesdale [94395] was born in 1362 and died in 1391 at age 29.

   39    ii. Robert d'UMFREVILLE [120366] died before Oct 1379.
