I have to report that my third son, James Edward fell victim to Cystic Fibrosis a couple of years ago and after much hope - born with great courage and optimism - of receiving a lung transplant to no avail, he died on 18th December 2010, aged 37.
We all say our children are fine people and James was no exception, but I can assure you that you would have been pleased to have known him for the worthy member of the family he was, admired by his many friends and colleagues and deeply loved by his brothers and sister.
