The Descendants of Adam de Bucton, circa 1190, from Buckton, close to the Scottish Border in Northumberland.

Adam de Bucton was Head Forrester and Gamekeeper to the Bishop of Durham. Within a few Generations their Name changed to Forster. The Information was originally provided by Mark Turnbull; but in 2007, there were several anomalies. Now in 2011, after help and Information from a Number of People, including Hugh Drake-Brockman, Andrew Ager, John Foster, John Lowe, Marigold [Roberts] Potter, Peter Dickson and Rowena Thomas we have a much enhanced Picture of the De Bucton/Foster [or Forster] and Foster-Barham Family.
In 2015, following a lot of Work by Marigold [Roberts] Botter, John Lowe and Jane [Campbell] Bennett, the Forster Family have been considerably enhanced and updated.
