General Notes: In an e-Mail received from Charles S. Lewis in September 2011, he included the following: Risley paid $5.00 per month for several years, to a New York lawyer to establish the fact that the Steelman** family was fleeced out of their share of Absecon Island (circa 1830) by the Camden and Atlantic Land Co., a subsidiary of the Camden and Atlantic Railroad Co.

Samuel married Anna Good CURTIS [96239] [MRIN: 32140], daughter of Ebenezer CURTIS [96240] and Elizabeth COBB [96241], about 1888. The marriage ended in divorce after 1895. Anna was born in Sep 1850 in Egg Harbor Township Atlantic Co. New Jersey USA and died in 1918 in Collingswood Camden Co. New Jersey USA at age 68.
