5. John Thomas FITZGIBBON [103787] (John², Thomas¹) was born in 1708 and died on 11 Apr 1789 at age 81.

General Notes: In a Document on the Fitzgibbon Family received from Marigold [Roiberts] Potter in May 2015, she included the Fact that,
"Educated at the expense of Lord Kingston; studied physics in Paris M.D."

Noted events in his life were:

• Occupation: a Collector of Excise.

• Appointment: Freeman of the City, 20 Feb 1747, Limerick Co. Limerick Ireland.

John married Elinor GROVE [103789], daughter of John GROVE [103792] and Annabella BLENNERHASSETT [103793], on 8 Feb 1738 in St Peter's Dublin Co. Dublin Ireland. Elinor was born in 1718 and died in 1786 in Ireland at age 68.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 6 M    i. Gibbon FITZGIBBON [103785] died in Aug 1781.

+ 7 M    ii. Patrick FITZGIBBON [103971] .

+ 8 M    iii. John FITZGIBBON [103945] was born in 1708 and died on 11 Apr 1780 at age 72.
