3. Dorothy FURLY [120036] (Benjamin², John¹) was born in 1710 and died in 1763 at age 53.

Dorothy married Sir Thomas FORSTER of Walthamstow [120035], son of Matthew FORSTER [120474]. Thomas was born in 1697 in City of London Middlesex and died on 1 Sep 1763 in Walbrook City of London England at age 66.

General Notes: In a Document received from Patrick de Meulmeester in March 2021, he included the following:
The direct ancestry of Thomas Forster of Walthamstow is problematic because many records of the population of London at that time were destroyed during the Second World War but it is probable that he is the son of Thomas Forster 1659-1725.
Moreover, it is certain that Thomas Forster of Walthamstow is part of the descendants of the famous Forster dynasty of Bamburgh and Adderstone (Etherston) and here is what is taken up in the 'Dictionary of the Landed Gentry' written in 1847 by John Burke, renowned historian.
'The family Forster of Etherston is of great antiquity in Northumberland, frequently holding offices high-sheriff and member for the county. Sir John Forster, Knt. Banneret of Bambrough Abbey, a general in the army of Queen Elisabeth was Lord of the Warden of the Middel Marches and Governor of Bamburgh castle.
His daughter Julian married Francis Russell son of the second Earl of Bedford and one of the earliest baronetcies was conferred on his grandson Claudius in 1619 who died without issue. His brother John obtained the grant of Bamburgh castle forfeited by Thomas Forster whose adherence to the cause of the Stuarts induced him to join the rebellion of 1715.
Etherston (Adderstone) still continues as the family seat.

   6 M    iii. Thomas Furly FORSTER [120065] was born on 26 Aug 1733 in City of London Middlesex.

Thomas married Sarah WARD [120068].

   7 F    iv. Elizabeth FORSTER [120066] was born on 20 Nov 1734 in City of London Middlesex.

   8 M    v. Rev. Benjamin FORSTER [120067] was born on 7 Aug 1736 in City of London Middlesex and died in 1805 at age 69.

+ 9 M    vi. Richard FORSTER [120069] was born on 23 Jul 1739 in City of London Middlesex.

Richard married Susanna WARD [120070].

Richard next married Susanna GRAVES [120071].
