2. Thomas Spencer HART [38063] was born on 12 Aug 1808 in Mevagissey Cornwall England, was baptised on 28 Aug 1808, died on 21 Mar 1895 in Bendigo Colony of Victoria at age 86, and was buried in Kangaroo Flat Colony of Victoria.

General Notes: 1839 - Thomas, who was a Stonemason, his Wife Jaje, Richard and Samuel migrated to the new & exciting Colony of South Australia [Adelaide], founded in 1836. Extensive publicity had been given in England regarding the need for young Families and qualified Tradesmen in this new Land.
1851 - Gold was discovered in the Colony of Victoria. Thomas, Richard and Samuel were among the many from the Colony of South Australia to leave home and try their luck. They became successful Traders and by 1856 moved Jane and the younger Children to join them. Firstly, they lived in the Bendigo Area, then Stawell, Ararat and Bendigo again. Both Jane and Thomas are buried at Kangaroo Flat.
Of the 7 Children, 6 married and had Children. Descendants are numerous and are spread across Australia and New Zealand. Naturally there are others scattered across the World, notably in England, America and Holland.
On March the 23rd and 24th, 1985 the first Reunion of the Descendants of Thomas' and Jane's Descendants was held in Bendigo.

Thomas married Jane HENDY [38062] [MRIN: 13923], daughter of Samuel HENDY [33520] and Jane PASCOE [33517], on 07 Jun 1835 in Helston Cornwall England. The marriage ended in divorce. Jane was born in Nov 1809 in Mullion Cornwall England, was baptised on 06 Nov 1809, died on 31 Mar 1896 in Bendigo Colony of Victoria at age 86, and was buried in Mar 1896 in Kangaroo Flat Colony of Victoria.

+ 5 F    iii. Jane Cleveland HART [38068] was born on 27 Aug 1839 on board "The Cleveland" bound for Adelaide Colony of South Australia, died on 25 May 1913 in Bendigo Colony of Victoria at age 73, and was buried in Kangaroo Flat Colony of Victoria.

   6 M    iv. Pascoe James HART [38069] was born on 28 Feb 1842 in Walkerville Colony of South Australia and died on 08 Oct 1923 in Box Hill VIC Australia at age 81.

+ 7 F    v. Mary Hendy HART [38070] was born on 19 Sep 1844 in Walkerville Colony of South Australia, died on 28 Nov 1905 in Bendigo VIC Australia at age 61, and was buried on 29 Nov 1905 in White Hills Cemetery VIC Australia.

+ 8 F    vi. Susan HART [38071] was born on 03 Feb 1847 in Chain of Ponds Colony of South Australia, died on 23 Jan 1914 in Camberwell Melbourne VIC Australia at age 66, and was buried in Burwood Melbourne VIC Australia.

+ 9 M    vii. John Pascoe HART [38072] was born on 29 Nov 1849 in Houghton Colony of South Australia and died on 03 Jul 1923 in Ararat Colony of Victoria at age 73.
