Nathan married Sarah BEECROFT [16608] [MRIN: 2244], daughter of William BEECROFT [16731] and Elizabeth [16732], in 1805 in Thurgarton Parish Church Nottinghamshire England. Sarah was born about 1782 in Thurgarton Nottinghamshire England, died on 18 Apr 1866 in Nottingham Nottinghamshire England aged about 84, and was buried on 25 Apr 1866 in General Cemetery Nottingham Nottinghamshire England.

   3 F    i. Mary HURST [16726] was born on 3 May 1805 in St Mary Nottingham Nottinghamshire England, died on 23 Dec 1818 at age 13, and was buried in Vault in Broad Street Baptist Chapel Nottingham Nottinghamshire England.

General Notes: Mary's remains were moved to the General Cemetery when it opened. Nathan bought a Family Plot, so his children who had died earlier, William and Mary were re-buried there on September the 6th, 1843.

Sarah married Joseph SMITH [3570] [MRIN: 2237], son of John SMITH [3555] and Martha FRANK [3556], about 1858. Joseph was born on 20 Jul 1799 in Tydd St Giles Cambridgeshire England, died on 4 Feb 1883 in Nottingham Park Nottinghamshire England at age 83, and was buried about Feb 1883 in Lenton Nottinghamshire England.

General Notes: WAS BELEIVED TO HAVE LIVED IN NOTTINGHAM. ... "Betty" Spender, knowing Joseph lived in Notting- ham, and that he had a Grain Merchant/Miller background searched Nottingham Directories; and located a Joseph Smith, Corn Merchant. Further investigation showed Joseph was a Corn Dealer in Nottingham by 1832; and possibly earlier. Amongst other addresses, Joseph lived with his second Wife at Newton Priory, a Grand House, in a Nottingham Suburb. He also at another time lived in"The Park" another Nottingham Suburb. The 1851 Census
finds his Mother Martha Smith (nee Frank), by this time a Widow, living next door, with a Nurse & another Servant. At this time she was obviously unwell, as she died the following year. H.U.SMITH, from "Betty" Spender letter, rec'd. August 8, 1988. ...
