Blanche married Cecil Fern Grey TAINTON [43082] [MRIN: 15555], son of Richard George Henry TAINTON JP [42995] and Amelia Lockington STANGER [42994]. Cecil was born on 31 Oct 1872 in King William's Town Eastern Cape South Africa, was baptised in Grahamstown Baptist Church Eastern Cape South Africa, and died in 1930 in Kei Road Eastern Cape South Africa at age 58.

Hilda inherited half of 'Haddon Hall'. She left half to her son Coventry and the other half to Victor.
From Mary Jane Dell's will Hilda not only inherited Haddon Hall but the furniture and household effects together with the traps and horses. She was also to have the usufruct of 'Endell' which, on her death, was to go to her children.

Hilda was adopted by her aunt, Mary Jane Dell (nee Kincaid) after the death of her mother. Two of her sisters were also 'adopted' - Blanche Una and Imogen. This adoption is in question and it is more than likely that they were just fostered and not officially adopted.
