8. Gregor na Bratach MACGREGOR [118054] (Causantín III⁶, Dougallus (King)⁴, Griogair (Prince)², Domnall of Dal Riata [Dalriada] (King)¹) was born circa 915 in Scotland and died in 954 in Scotland aged about 39. Another name for Gregor was MACALPIN.

Gregor Garbh, or the Stout, designated of Glenurchay, a man of martial spirit and great renown in Malcolm's time. He also fought under King Duncan I. against the Normans and Danes, inter 1035 and 1040, and promoted the restoration of his son, Malcolm III. He married a daughter5 of the ancient house of Lochow,6 by whom he had two sons'97
