Thomas Rossiter, whose daughter Mary Ann married Thomas Forwood, the nephew of Stephen Forwood, who was a Gunner, was the Marines' drummer on HM Bark Endeavour, captained by James Cook.
Thomas Rossiter and Stephen Forwood were caught drunk together on the Voyage.
