Catherine SPENCER [10380] (Robert¹⁴, Robert¹², Robert⁶, William³, Nicholas¹) was born on 03 May 1769 in Hodsock Nottinghamshire England, died on 28 Oct 1810 in Letwell Yorkshire England at age 41, and was buried on 01 Nov 1810 in Carlton-in-Lindrick Nottinghamshire England. The cause of her death was Consumption.

Catherine married Richard TAYLOR [10378] [MRIN: 4736], son of Richard TAYLOR [10389] and Jane BEALY [10390], on 01 Jul 1800 in Everton Nottinghamshire England. Richard was born on 14 Dec 1762 in Carlton-in-Lindrick Nottinghamshire England, was christened in Jan 1763 in Carlton-in-Lindrick Nottinghamshire England, died on 22 Dec 1818 in Doncaster Yorkshire England at age 56, and was buried in Carlton-in-Lindrick Nottinghamshire England.

Built his house at Letwell.
He married (1) Elizabeth Williamson who died in childbirth in 1792 (no issue)
and, (2) Catherine Spencer in 1800.

After Catherine's death of consumption in 1810, he let Letwell, and went to live at South Parade, Doncaster.

He also purchased some land at Newington near Bawtry, and rented the premises adjoining it belonging to the Corporation of Doncaster where he established a porter brewery.

He was buried in the same vault as his 2 wives.
He estimated his property at £16,000, but law and losses much reduced it before it came to his children.

Married but no family.

Died in 1861 of pleurisy in USA.
