This must have been close, in Redford Township, to where their parents were living in 1900. William's father Charles died in 1904, and his mother Eliza died in 1908. It is not clear if either William or Charles are living on the farm previously owned by their parents.

I am assuming that this is the same farm that they were living on in 1910. At this point they owned it free of a mortgage. I could not locate William's brother Charles Sturman in Redford Township in this census, but their oldest son Joseph was living nearby with his in-laws, in household #529.

William married Martha E PERRIN [5719] [MRIN: 3129] on 15 Jun 1895 in Windsor Essex Co. Ontario Canada, daughter of Daniel S PERRIN [5716] and Susan ARMITAGE [5708]. Martha was born on 01 Dec 1873 in Au Sable Iosco Co. Michigan USA, died on 30 May 1958 in Detroit Wayne Co. Michigan USA at age 84, and was buried in Grand Lawn Cemetery Detroit Wayne Co. Michigan USA.

Martha's parents were living nearby in Whitney Township of Arenac County, Michigan. I have yet to determine how long they had been there, but her father is listed as immigrating from Canada in 1870 and her mother in 1866.
