• Occupation: Cabinet Maker, and Plate Glass Manufacturers, Appraisers, Auctioneers & Undertakers; General Dealers in all kinds of Hou.

William married Jane AYSCOUGH [23444] [MRIN: 9201], daughter of William AYSCOUGH [25484] and Mary MALYN [25485], 17 Dec 1791 in St.Giles Cripplegate London England. Jane was born 17 Jul 1773 and died 15 May 1838 in Stoke Newington Middlesex England at age 64.

General Notes: In an eMail, dated November 06, 2004, James Wilkinson wrote:
The parents of Jane Ayscough, who married William Wilkinson in December 1791, are given as William Ayscough and Mary Malyn - married 26 Nov 1767. I am not sure whether this information is reliable, as it is only based on a hand written annotation on a nineteenth century printed family tree. It may well have been added on the basis of information in the family bible, which I suspect my grandfather, Harry Collard Wilkinson (born 1852), who was Jane Ayscough's grandson, had access to. He very probably made the annotations to the tree himself?We do know that William Ayscough was a witness at the 1791 wedding as his name appears on the marriage certificate of Jane and William and he is cited as being her father. He is said to have lived in the parish of St Giles, Cripplegate, where the marriage took place and to have been an Undertaker by profession.

   15 F    v. Sarah D WILKINSON [23461] was born 27 Feb 1803 in Moorfields London England and died in 1876 at age 73.
