Elizabeth married Sir Gilbert BURDON of Baradon [120374].

The child from this marriage was:

   15    i. Eleanor BURDON [120375] .

Eleanor married Sir Henry TALBOYS [120376].

12. Earl Gilbert d'UMFREVILLE of Angus [120372] (Robert Baron of Prudhoe & Earl of Angus (Lord)¹⁰, Gilbert of Angus (Earl [1st])⁸, Gilbert⁷, Richard⁶, Gilbert⁵, Robert⁴, Odonel³, Robert², Robert (Sir)¹) was born in 1310 and died in 1381 at age 71.

General Notes: In a Document received from Marigold [Roberts] Potter in March 2021, she stated that,
Gilbert joined John Balliol in his attempt to obtain the Scottish throne.
In 1346 Fought at Neille's Cross.
In 1378 Entailed Resedale on his half brother.

Noted events in his life were:

• He served as a Membr of Parliament for Angus at Westminster Middlesex England in Between 1332 and 1334

Gilbert married Joan de GRESBY [120377], daughter of Lord John de GRESBY Willoughby [120378].

Gilbert next married Maud de LUCY [120379], daughter of Lord Thomas Lucy II [120380].

The child from this marriage was:

   16    i. Sir Robert d'UMFREVILLE [120381] .

Robert married Margaret de PERCY [120382], daughter of Lord Henry Percy II [120383].

14. Thomas d'UMFREVILLE of Harbottle Castle [120363] (Robert Baron of Prudhoe & Earl of Angus (Lord)¹⁰, Gilbert of Angus (Earl [1st])⁸, Gilbert⁷, Richard⁶, Gilbert⁵, Robert⁴, Odonel³, Robert², Robert (Sir)¹) died in 1386.

General Notes: In a Document received from Marigold [Roberts] Potter in March 2021, she stated that,
Sir Thomas inherited Resedale and Kyme from his half brother Gilbert.

Noted events in his life were:

• Appointment: Lieutenant of Scotland.

Thomas married Joan RODDAM [120364], daughter of Adam RODDAM [120365].

Children from this marriage were:

+ 17    i. Sir Thomas d'UMFREVILLE Lord of Riddesdale [94395] was born in 1362 and died in 1391 at age 29.

   18    ii. Robert d'UMFREVILLE [120366] died before Oct 1379.
