17. Sir Thomas d'UMFREVILLE Lord of Riddesdale [94395] (Thomas of Harbottle Castle¹⁴, Robert Baron of Prudhoe & Earl of Angus (Lord)¹⁰, Gilbert of Angus (Earl [1st])⁸, Gilbert⁷, Richard⁶, Gilbert⁵, Robert⁴, Odonel³, Robert², Robert (Sir)¹) was born in 1362 and died in 1391 at age 29.

Thomas married Agnes de GREY [120349], daughter of Thomas GREY [120350] and Margaret de PRESSON [120351]. Agnes was born in 1365 and died on 25 Oct 1420 at age 55.

Children from this marriage were:

   19    i. Sir Gilbert d'UMFREVILLE Earl of Kyme [94396] was born in 1390 and died in 1421 in Bauge Normandy at age 31.

General Notes: In a Document received from Marigold [Roberts] Potter in March 2021, she stated that,
In 1391, Sir Gilbert Inherited Harbottle, Redesdale and Kyme in Kesteven, obviously, on the Death of his Father.
Marigold on to say,
that the young Gilbert A royal ward, in the successive charge of his uncle, Robert d' Umfreville, Hotspur and in 1403 of George Dunbar, Earl of March.

Gilbert married Anne de NEVILLE [120352], daughter of Sir Ralph NEVILLE of Westmoreland [120353].

+ 20    ii. Elizabeth d'UMFREVILLE [94394] died on 12 Nov 1425.

   21    iii. Maud d'UMFREVILLE [120354] .

Maud married Sir William RITHER [120358].

   22    iv. Joan d'UMFREVILLE [120355] .

Joan married Sir Thomas LAMBERT [120359].

   23    v. Margaret d'UMFREVILLE [120356] .

Margaret married William LODINGTON [120360].

Margaret next married John CONSTABLE of Halsham [120361].

   24    vi. Agnes d'UMFREVILLE [120357] .

Agnes married Sir Thomas HAGGERSTON [120362].
