2. Rev George John DUPUIS [33890] (George (Rev)¹) was born on 12 Dec 1795 in Wendelbury Oxfordshire England and died on 22 Nov 1884 in Eton Berkshire England at age 88.

General Notes: In an eMail from John Jackson received in September 2008, he attached a History of the early Generations of the Dupuis Family. The Attachment included:-

George John Dupuis: Born 12th December, 1795 (21c, 21cii & 21ciii). He was assistant Master at Eton College from 1818 - 1840. On 11th April, 1824 he was ordained Deacon of Ely. Later he became rector of Hemingby Lincolnshire from 1831 to 1840. He was a Fellow of Eton College in 1831. A busy year! He married Julia Maria on 2nd August, the same year.
Next he moved to Creeting, Suffolk, where he was Rector from 1840 - 1862 (22, 22a, b & c).
From 1862 - 1878 he was rector of Worpleston. His wife, Julia Maria was daughter of Reverend William and Anne Roberts. Reverend William was Rector of Worpleston at the time.

The 1851 census (22d) shows us members of Reverend George John Dupuis's family. They were, Julia Maria his wife, Julia Caroline his daughter, b.1833, shown as single in 1881, Adela H. another daughter, b. 1837. Arthur E. a son, b. 1839

George married Julia Maria ROBERTS [33891] [MRIN: 12511], daughter of Rev William ROBERTS [33892] and Anne [33893], on 02 Aug 1831 in Worplesdon Surrey England. Julia was baptised on 11 Dec 1803 in Worplesdon Surrey England and died before 1871.

   7 F    i. Julia Caroline DUPUIS [33901] was born in 1832 in Eton Berkshire England and was baptised on 23 Nov 1832 in Eton Berkshire England.

+ 8 M    ii. George Richard DUPUIS [33744] was born on 23 Mar 1835 in Eton Berkshire England, was baptised on 10 May 1835 in Eton Berkshire England, and died on 30 Jan 1912 in Sessay Rectory Sessay Yorkshire England at age 76.
