3. James LATIMER [25119] (John², James¹).

James married Margaret [25120] [MRIN: 9710]. Margaret was buried on 17 Jan 1720 in Kirklinton Cumberland England.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 6 M    i. Robert LATIMER [25078] was born about 1699.

   7 F    ii. Mary LATIMER [25121] was born about 1700.

   8 M    iii. Edward LATIMER [43503] was born about 1701.

4. David LATIMER [43505] (John², James¹) was born in 1675 in Arthuret [Parish] Cumberland England and died on 17 Nov 1736 in Clifton Cumberland England at age 61.

David married Mary [43507] [MRIN: 15671] in 1701. Mary died on 29 Dec 1736.

General Notes: An eMail from Ann Kinross says:
Family tradition says he "married MARGARET Graham, heiress of Holmfoot";
BUT 1) The Bishops' Transcripts show the only DAVID Latimer of the period and area married MARY Graham. Holmfoot stands on the Netherby Estate, and the Holmfoot documents of the period are held in the Graham archive which is not publicly available,
and 2) when I wrote to Lord Graham of Netherby he replied that he had no record of any MARGARET Graham marrying a DAVID Latimer. So his wife's name was Mary.

+ 9 M    i. Thomas LATIMER [43508] was born about 1702 and died in 1758 in Dumfries Dumfriesshire Scotand about age 56.

+ 10 F    ii. Sybil LATIMER [43509] was born about 1704.

5. John LATIMER [43506] (John², James¹).

John married Mary BROWN [43511] [MRIN: 15676] in 1706.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 11 M    i. John LATIMER [43510] was born in 1706.

+ 12 M    ii. Thomas LATIMER [43512] .

+ 13 F    iii. Janet LATIMER [43513] was born after 1707.
