Married James DAVIDSON in 1847 in Glasgow, Lanark, and had 9 children.

James probably died, and Agnes emigrated on the 'Rakaia' sailing from Plymouth, England to Wellington, NZ, 6 July - 8 October 1878.

She brought with her Agnes (aged 23)married to Walter SCOTLAND (aged 30) of Lanark, Pattern Maker; Helen (Ellen), Elizabeth, Annie & James.

The eldest 2 boys, John & William, did not emigrate with the family, but William came later to NZ.

Agnes died in Wellington on 23 Nov. 1891. Buried 26 Nov. at Bolton St. Cemetery under Agnes McAdam DAVIDSON. Plot disinterred to make way for motorway.

Daughter, Helen Craig DAVIDSON married John PHILPOT.
John died on 19 April 1950 aged 91 years, and Helen died on 15 May 1950 aged 92 years. Both buried in Karori Cemetery, Wellington.

He died before 1878 as wife & children only emigrated in 1878 on the 'Rakaia'.
