19-3-03 found Marion Smith DAVIDSON b. 20 Nov. 1872 in Govan, Lanark, SCTwith parents John DAVIDSON & Marion BROWN. This makes sense as they weremarried in 1870. Also informed that Marion married Arthur BURLING.
I found Marion Smith DAVIDSON married an Alfred BURLING in 1892 inWellington, nz.

Came to NZ and lived in St Kilda, Dunedin. Were in NZ by at least 1889.

His 9th child, Agnes Craig Davidson, was enrolled in St Clair School,Dunedin, on 11 February 1907.
Her last school had been Greenhill,Scotland.
(There is a Greenhill in Dumfries Cty, Scotland)
She left school at the end of 1911 to attend a Technical School. This may not be their child.

" This family first settled in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Later came to NZ and lived in Petone. John DAVIDSON had some land, and he took Jim (James Hunter) out of school at age 15 to help him fell the bush. John broke his leg when a tree fell on it. The family went back to Petone. Jim went to work to keep the family. In the end Jim built a house on his farm at Pongaroa, Wellington, for his folk in their old age, and left."James Hunter DAVIDSON was born in 1874, so he was aged 15 in
1889.

Information from family is that Agnes married a Mr CAMPBELL.
