The Descendants of Roger Selby, probably born in the mid 1400s;
and resided at Grindon Ridge in Northumberland.

Research into the Family of Lyderic de Buc and related Families, including the Jacob Family, has resulted in a large Tree drawn by Helen Morgan in 2016, compiled with the Assistance of, Elizabeth Jacob, Elizabeth Howard, Cluny Selby, Kenneth Jacob and Phillip Jacob. From this Tree, we find 2 distinct Selby Families, who probably originated in the far North-East of England. The Families eventually merge with the Marriage of Agnes and Sir William Selby in 1544.
